Rain<br \/>\nIs your equivalent of hope, hope<br \/>\nThat isn\u2019t hope<\/p>\n<p>For anything in particular<br \/>\nBecause for you nothing<br \/>\nIs particular<\/p>\n<p>And so is everything<br \/>\nAnd both are happening at once<br \/>\nIn the soft grey shower<\/p>\n<p>Of forever, a sermon<br \/>\nYour heart keeps repeating<br \/>\nBecause it cannot explain<\/p>\n<p>The hope you find in floods<br \/>\nThat wash our worlds away.<\/p>\n<p><em>Psalm 110 and this psalm both have a common theme: the author was or is experiencing the feeling of falling.
