It declares God\u2019s goodness and urges all of creation to worship.<br \/>\nPsalm of Individual Thanksgiving&#8211;This psalm emphasizes gratitude for what God has done for the individual.<br \/>\nAcrostic&#8211;A literary composition in which the writer has used the letters of the Hebrew alphabet in their order as the initial letters for a sequence of verses. i.e \u05d0.\u05d1.\u05d2.\u05d3<\/p>\n<p><em>Chapter Summary:<\/em><br \/>\nThis psalm, written in alphabetical order, calls upon man to look closely at the works of God, to remember His wonders and the might of His powerful deeds. The psalmist seeks to implant in our hearts faith in God and hope in the final redemption.<\/p>\n<p>This psalm consists of ten verses, comprised of twenty-two clauses, corresponding to the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The first eight verses are made up of two clauses each; the last two each contain three clauses. Each clause is viewed as an independent statement of praise. The psalmist begins by thanking God for His wondrous works of creation. He further praises the LORD for His providence over all His creatures, particularly those who fear Him.
