Why is this? The professional dancer Eugene Louis Faccuito found that most dance routines worked on an eight beat count. By starting counting at five, it allowed for three beats of rest followed by counting starting on the downbeat (five) and then counting a full three beats (six, seven, eight).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What does this have to do with Psalm 107? Perhaps Mr. Faccuito learned his method from this psalm. Every single verse in this long psalm has either five, six, seven, or eight words. Most have seven or six.
