“Awake, harp and lyre; I will awake the dawn.” (Psalm 108:3)<\/p>\n

In dreams I hear the princess cry, “Awake
\nAnd understand the parables I speak,
\nAwake, for you can reach me if you seek
\nMy footsteps on the shoreline of the lake
\nWhich flows into my coral-sea. Just take
\nA breath and leap, to soar above the peak
\nThat crowns my archipelago, then streak
\nAcross the heavens, for heaven is at stake.”<\/p>\n

“Awake.” It seems this word I hear in dreams
\nAwakens me from sleep, for when I dream
\nThe princess speaks, it seems as if the leap
\nOf faith is but a single step, it seems
\nA single step across a narrow stream.
\nAm I awake, or am I still
