David composed over seventy of the 150 psalms of Sefer Tehillim.<\/p>\n<p><em>Genre:<\/em><br \/>\nPsalm of Praise&#8211;This is a psalm of celebration, often the result of a victory. It declares God\u2019s goodness and urges all of creation to worship.<\/p>\n<p><em>Chapter Summary:<\/em><br \/>\nContinuing with the theme of the previous psalm, the Singer encourages all exiles, present and future, to thank God for His everlasting compassion and salvation. David also composed this psalm to express his gratitude to God for personal deliverance.<\/p>\n<p>This psalm consists of fourteen verses, subdivided into three parts.
