Psalms 101 seems pretty straight forward. It is a short list of the ways that King David will lead his kingdom: try to live without blame, hate crooked dealing, know no evil, hate deceit and proud men, use the counsel of the trustworthy, destroy those who lie and the wicked.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But now read it again. This time, though, see how the verses could also be spoken by God Himself.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Perhaps the message here is that in order for King David to have an upright kingdom and be an upright ruler, he must follow the ways that God oversees his subjects.<\/span><\/p>\n
