The only time that the chamber can be entered is on Yom Kippur. But this specific phrase of &#8220;sits in the Keruvim&#8221; appears only three times in Tanach besides here. I Samuel 4:4 referencing the sons of Eli at the time Samuel was an apprentice of the High Priest, II Samuel 6:2 (and repeated in I Chronicles 13:6) where King David and the people bring the Ark back up to Jerusalem, and then in II Kings 19:15 (repeated in Isaiah 37:16) concerning King Hezekiah praying to God to save the nation from Sennecharib.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In each of these instances, God is called on in a key moment in biblical history. The time of Samuel was the end of the era of judges and the start of the period of the kings of Israel and united nationhood. King David&#8217;s establishment of Jerusalem as the capital and the central place of worship has had a lasting affect to this day. After the fall of the Northern Kingdom, it looked as if the Assyrians would finish the job and destroy the Kingdom of Judah as well. Hezkiah&#8217;s prayer saved the Southern Kingdom and helped solidify the Southern Kingdom as the central place for the remaining Israelites.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The psalmist is reminding us that God \u201cwho sits among the Keruvim\u201d will always be there for His nation: in times of great upheaval or times of great
