  1. Echoes of Mt. Sinai<\/em>. Revelation in a cloud, and fog, fire and lightning is reminiscent of the revelation at Mt. Sinai. You are invited to return to that event, at Exodus 20 (especially verse 16), or to Deut. 4 (verse 11). By the way, a description of a divine revelation in this manner is relatively rare in Psalms. Generally, in the psalms, God is simply present in the world. He doesn\u2019t \u201cappear.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Are there other gods?<\/em> How do you understand what is described in verses 7 and 9?<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Light is sown (verse 11<\/em>). How does one sow light? And what will grow from it? And who is \u201cthe sower\u201d in the verse – the righteous? Or God? What causes the joy (here: radiance, Heb. <\/span>simcha<\/span><\/em>) for the upright? Worth thinking about…<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. A thread of justice<\/em>. \u201cRighteousness and justice are the base of His throne\u201d (verse 2). Even \u201cthe heavens proclaim His righteousness\u201d (verse 6). This is a source of joy for the righteous, and what gives them strength to hate evil and do good (verses 10-12).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","image":{"ID":86314,"id":86314,"title":"Points to
