“How long shall the wicked, O Lord, how long shall the wicked exult? They proclaim and speak arrogance; all those who do evil boast loftily. They crush Your people and afflict Your inheritance.” (Psalm 94:3-5)<\/p>\n

I look into a mirror every day
\nBut cannot see my face \u2014 as if my face
\nHad vanished, banished to a hidden place
\nWhere mirrors that have cracked are thrown away.
\nI look into Your world, O Lord, and pray
\nTo glimpse some light of providential grace
\nRefracted back to us, but see no trace
\nOf regal white, my King, amidst the gray.<\/p>\n

For evil, cruel men who murder claim
\nTo hold Your mirror, and although they hate
\nMy people, Lord, they boast they know Your ways.
\nO God of Israel, reveal Your name
\nBy showing us reflections of how great
\nYour justice is, and stop the man who
