A brief 929 post is not the place to discuss this complex and multifaceted issue. However, we can dip our toe in ever so slightly. There is one theory that is called the day-epoch theory. Under this theory, the timeline mentioned in the book of Genesis should not be taken literally as six human days on earth. Instead, these days are each an epoch.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One source for this theory is verse 4 of Psalm 90: &#8220;For a thousand years are in Your eyes like the yesterday that just passed.&#8221;\u00a0 Moses is explaining that what to us humans is thousands of years to God is just one day.
