  1. Echoes of the 13 attributes<\/em>. 569 chapters ago (Exodus 34) we encountered \u201cthe divine attributes\u201d as they were communicated to Moses. Since then they have been quoted or referred to in various prophetic books. In verses 5 and 15, you\u2019ll find a version of them\u00a0 – rare for the book of Psalms: \u201cFor You, Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call on You\u2026\u00a0 compassionate and merciful, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Greatness<\/em>. God is great, and performs wonders (10), and thus also \u201cYour steadfast love <\/span>toward me<\/em> <\/span>is great.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Oneness<\/em>. God is one – \u201cYou alone are God\u201d (10) – and the believer also desires to be unified and focused in his reverence: \u201clet my heart be undivided\u201d (11).<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Give me a sign!<\/em> Because even just the knowledge that Someone is listening, even if they don\u2019t answer, can make all the difference: \u201cShow me a sign of Your
