Yechezkel ben Yehuda HaLevi Landau in the 18th century in Prague. The work covers the major areas of Jewish law and is still relied on as a halachic reference.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why did Rav Yechezkael Landau choose this obscure phrase in the middle of a psalm for the name of his work?\u00a0 It turns out to be a play on words, as his father&#8217;s name was Yehudah. This grand master of <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">halacha <\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">attributed all his knowledge to his father, Yehudah.
