Verse 5: \u201cI saw to the arrogant deal not arrogantly and to the wicked I say do not raise your horn&#8221;; verse 6:&#8221; Do not raise up your horn to the heavens&#8230;&#8221;; verse 11 &#8220;all the horns of the wicked I will cut off; uplifted will be the horns of the righteous.&#8221;\u00a0 A horn can have multiple connotations. The horn can be in its simplest form as a weapon atop a wild animal. A horn can also be a sign of power and strength.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But we also know that a horn can be an instrument, similar to the shofar that one blows in battle. That could be the horn referenced for the wicked at first. A horn can also be used as a cup of sorts (think Vikings).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perhaps the symbolic cup of wine mentioned in verse 9 is also meant to evoke the image of a horn.\u00a0 Asaph weaves these different meanings of the word horn into this psalm- weapons, crowns, and possibly instruments and cups, again showing his poetic prowess.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:
