The question also appears multiple times in Psalms. Asaph, the author of Psalm 73 provides a unique angle to this question. Asaph structures the Psalm as a person looking at the wicked and being envious of their lives. They seem to live life without worrying about anything and dying without a care in the world. Without existential dread, and concern about following religious tenets why should they be troubled. Sin is foreign to them, and whatever they are involved in, they are only in it for themselves.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But Asaph pulls the curtain back from this perspective. All may seem rosy on the outside, but deeper understanding of God through service reveals that the wicked do not lead carefree lives. They also do not pass on quietly, instead, &#8220;Only in slippery places do you set them down, you hurl them down to dissolution.&#8221;\u00a0 Only through following God does one find true peace and
