In a military context one would think that knowledge should spread fear. However the word that appears four more times in the Psalm is Thanking\/praise: in verses 4 and 7 &#8220;peoples of the world will thank you, God, all the nations will thank you.&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">King David&#8217;s message is that fighting for God is not meant to invoke fear. Fighting on behalf of God is to get other nations to know God&#8217;s goodness, leading them not to fear, but to gratitude.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Image: author unknown
