When he cries out to God, it&#8217;s all about him. What sins he has committed and how God can help him. Many of us can attest to this self-centered focus of prayer. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Taking a step back from this theme David looks at the world around him and realizes that conversation with God does not have to be singularly focused. In verses 6-14 King David turns that lens outward, and like a hermit emerging from a cave, he rubs his eyes and adjusts to see the great miracles that God performs every single day in the natural world around him.
