Psalm 63 directly mentions David hiding in the wilderness, but how do we know this one was also written there? Here we look again toward a repeating word- rock &#8220;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tzur&#8221;. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The word appears three times in the psalm. One could also argue that the tottering fence mentioned in verse four is also a reference to stone. In biblical times, land demarcation was usually accomplished by stone structures. One can imagine David sitting in the wilderness looking around for inspiration while he drafts this psalm. All around him are crags and rocks as far as the eye can
