  1. Possible background. Those who insist on anchoring this psalm in David\u2019s life, identify the confidante who betrayed as Achitophel. Achitophel was David\u2019s personal advisor, yet during Absalom\u2019s rebellion, joined Absalom and worked against David. More details in 2 Sam. 15-17.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Now that\u2019s how you walk in God\u2019s house! (Or: lost in translation). Verse 15: \u201csweet was our fellowship; we walked together in God\u2019s house.\u201d But the Hebrew says we walked together <\/span>b’regesh<\/span><\/em>; Alter adds here: \u201cin elation.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
