He and his men hid in the forest of Ziph. But the residents of the city betrayed him. In verse 5 David laments: &#8220;For strangers have risen up against me&#8230;.&#8221; What&#8217;s interesting here is that the people of Ziph are from the tribe of Judah, the same tribe as David. By calling these relatives &#8220;strangers&#8221; David is calling them out for their
