  1. Separately and together<\/em>. Just like the other psalms which have a biographical heading from David\u2019s life, this psalm too has meaning without any necessary connection to the events mentioned.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. The evil others<\/em>. There aren\u2019t two sides here. The psalmist freels that those pursuing him \u201care unmindful of God.\u201d They take no account of God, so God will take no account of them and so God will be on his side.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. When exactly?<\/em> The psalm reflects a process, from distress to rescue. At what point on this continuum was it written? After the salvation, when expressing thanks? Or is it perhaps during the distress, but with certainty that the salvation will come?
