The psalm is split into two themes. The first 7 verses talk about God&#8217;s mastery over nature, most likely in the form of an earthquake. The last five verses talk of God&#8217;s mastery over wars. The psalm juxtaposes earthquakes and wars each earth-shaking actions: of nature, and of man.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, for the descendants of Korah, referencing an earthquake has special meaning. It is again an acknowledgment that the punishment meted out for their forefather was just, and was God&#8217;s
