The sages whisper there’s an inner room
\nWhich God may enter, lock the door and cry
\nFor all the innocents who sanctify
\nHis sacred name \u2014 for bottles of perfume
\nOur enemies have smashed \u2014 for trees that bloom
\nIn early spring but by the autumn lie
\nUpon the ground \u2014 for every butterfly
\nWith splendid wings which ruthless frogs consume.<\/p>\n

Where is this room? I think I may have seen
\nIts key although I can’t recall the cup
\nIn which the key was placed; I have no clue
\nTo where it is, O Lord, concealed between
\nThe future and the past. Please open up
\nYour door, my God, and let me weep with You.<\/p>\n
