Lehazkir<\/em> (\u201cto call to mind\u201d). This heading opens Ps 70 as well, which is also a psalm of a person bemoaning their pain. What does it mean, and is there a connection between it and the content of the psalm? Is there a connection with the sacrificial offering known as the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">azkarah<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (remembrance &#8211; see Lev 2:2)? Or is this heading referring to the psalmist mentioning, calling to mind his suffering before God?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Silence &#8211; strong or weak<\/em>? \u201cBut I am like a deaf man, unhearing, like a dumb man who cannot speak up&#8230; who has no retort on his lips.\u201d When someone accosted with lies remains silent, what is the source of the silence? Is it the internal strength to practice restraint? Or the fear or weakness to stand up to the attacker? Or is it just patience \u201cBut I wait for You, O LORD; You will answer, O Lord, my God\u201d (verses 14-17).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","image":{"ID":53645,"id":53645,"title":"general-qs-points to
