  1. Just a little longer<\/em>. Patience: \u201cA little longer and there will be no wicked man; you will look at where he was\u2014 he will be gone\u201d (verse 10).<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Less is more<\/em>. Why is better for the righteous to have but few possessions, than it is for the wealthy and wicked? \u201cBetter the little that the righteous man has than the great abundance of the wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the LORD is the support of the righteous,\u201d and the wicked, though wealthy, will lose their wealth.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. A teaser for the book of Proverbs<\/em>. This psalm and its ideas are in the spirit of the wisdom literature. We\u2019ll meet similar writings in another 114 chapters, when we reach the book of Proverbs.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Regards from the grace after meals<\/em>. The verse \u201cI have never seen a righteous man abandoned, or his children seeking bread\u201d comes at the conclusion of the grace after meals (said after eating bread). The verse\u2019s dissonance with the vagaries of life have led some people to say it sotto voce<\/em>, in order not to hurt the feelings of the righteous and their offspring who have not been so
