“O Lord, in Thy strength the king rejoiceth, and in Thy salvation how greatly doeth he exult.” (Psalm 21:2)<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know how to pray. I don\u2019t know how <\/span>
\n<\/span>to turn to You, or if I turn at all.<\/span>
\n<\/span>But other things I know \u2014 to fail; to fall; <\/span>
\n<\/span>to lie; to hide.\u00a0 Am I supposed to bow <\/span>
\n<\/span>before You?\u00a0 I’m not sure I can; for now <\/span>
\n<\/span>let’s talk, all right?\u00a0 Although I’m very small <\/span>
\n<\/span>and You are very great, most people call <\/span>
\n<\/span>You merciful, so may I call You “Thou”?<\/span><\/p>\n

Thou knowest my kingdom is a whirlpool, right?<\/span>
\n<\/span>Thou knowest my kingdom is a sea no boat <\/span>
\n<\/span>or raft can ever cross \u2014 and this is where <\/span>
\n<\/span>I have been living \/ swimming \/ drowning, night <\/span>
\n<\/span>by night, year by year.\u00a0 Please \u2014 keep me afloat; <\/span>
