  1. Justice, justice.<\/em> The psalm opens with \u201cjustice\u201d – \u201cHear, O LORD, what is just,\u201d and ends with \u201cjustice\u201d – \u201cThen I, justified, will behold Your face.\u201d That is the essence of the message.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Some characteristics of evildoers<\/em>. Verses 10-13 describe the wicked as thieves, as threats. As closed to any petitions of pity: they are rich, arrogant and very dangerous.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. The verbs set the pace<\/em>. If you just read the verbs in the petition to God, you can feel the accelerating pace of the request. Is it because the fear of the enemy is growing stronger? \u201cHear\u2026\u201d \u201cheed…\u201d \u201cgive ear…\u201d \u201canswer me…\u201d \u201cturn your ear to me…\u201d \u201chear…\u201d \u201cDisplay…\u201d \u201cGuard me…\u201d \u201cHide me…\u201d \u201cRise!…\u201d \u201cGo forth…\u201d \u201cBring him down…\u201d \u201crescue
