The concert hall is packed.<\/span><\/p>\n

All the musicians watch the conductor <\/span>
\n<\/span>Raise his baton; the music begins:<\/span>
\n<\/span>Pianissimo \u2014 crescendo \u2014 mezzo forte.<\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone in the audience <\/span>
\n<\/span>Listens<\/span>
\n<\/span>As the baton births harmony.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the back of the concert hall,<\/span>
\n<\/span>An old man shuffles in late\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014 His trousers not ironed,<\/span>
\n<\/span> His shoes untied,<\/span>
\n<\/span> His graying hair disheveled \u2014\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And dares not take a seat.<\/span><\/p>\n

All ears and eyes on the baton,<\/span>
\n<\/span>A magician’s wand<\/span>
\n<\/span>Conjuring up melody.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not even the ushers<\/span>
\n<\/span>Notice the man in a frayed coat<\/span>
\n<\/span>Standing in the back.<\/span><\/p>\n

But the conductor,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Whose face is never seen,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Motions his baton towards this man.<\/span><\/p>\n

And suddenly I find myself<\/span>
\n<\/span>In the first row, attired in a purple robe and wearing a crown,<\/span>
\n<\/span>With a jeweled scepter in my hand.<\/span><\/p>\n
