David focuses this message on night time. In verse 5 he states that one should\u00a0 &#8220;reflect in your hearts while you are on your bed&#8221; and verse 9 &#8220;in peace and harmony I lie down to sleep&#8221;.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will see multiple times throughout Psalms that David refers to sleep, bedtime, night time etc. This focus on sleep speaks to his deep understanding of the human psyche. David knows that at bedtime all are equal. As we lie down without any external distractions, the mind wanders in ways that can cause anxiety and the mind can also empty and cause calm. In that moment of deep thought David explains that truth is one&#8217;s daytime life will lead to calm in the
