Like torch-fire are the chariots on the day they are made ready, and the cypress shafts are poisoned.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Several modern translations have understood this as the color of the shields and of the warrior\u2019s garments.
