  1. A plethora of prophecies<\/em>. The divine abundance is both in the quantity of people that will be affected and the variety of results. The divine spirit will arouse prophecies, dreams and visions (verses 1 and 2).<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. The heavens shall tell<\/em>. \u201cThe sun shall turn into darkness And the moon into blood\u201d (verse 4). If the idea of an eclipse fills you with anxiety, you may be surprised to learn that a blood-red moon was actually interpreted as a good omen, by ancient Assyrian astrologers\u00a0 (though a lunar eclipse was always bad).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Is the day of the LORD good – or bad<\/em>? Depends on who you ask, and for whom. From this chapter we know that it will be \u201cgreat and terrible,\u201d and that there will be good people who will be saved. We\u2019ll learn more about this Day of the Lord according to Joel in the next chapter. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","image":{"ID":53645,"id":53645,"title":"general-qs-points to
