\n<\/span>we <\/span>are<\/span><\/i> open to whatever arises,<\/span>
\n<\/span>we <\/span>have<\/span><\/i> ravished & been ravished<\/span>
\n<\/span>on every inch of desert.<\/span>
\n<\/span>you’ve made your demands,<\/span>
\n<\/span>I’ve listened patiently.<\/span>
\n<\/span>now it’s my turn:<\/span>
\n<\/span>when you say \u201cyou defile the land,\u201d<\/span>
\n<\/span>do you mean \u201cyou have more pleasure <\/span>
\n<\/span>than any woman should?”<\/span>
\n<\/span>when you say “covered in shame,”<\/span>
\n<\/span>do you mean “I desire you?”<\/span>
\n<\/span>when you say \u201creturn to me,\u201d<\/span>
\n<\/span>do you mean “submit”?<\/span>
\n<\/span>I submit only to the moon and sun,<\/span>
\n<\/span>to stone, wood & water,<\/span>
\n<\/span>to the mystery which sparks each<\/span>
\n<\/span>heartbeat in my chest and in<\/span>
\n<\/span>the chest of every lover– <\/span>
\n<\/span>and I welcome my lovers <\/span>
\n<\/span>of stone or wood, flesh<\/span>
\n<\/span>or celestial orb – I welcome<\/span>
\n<\/span>them whenever I want, if they want <\/span>
\n<\/span>me too, and as for you, if you still <\/span>
\n<\/span>want me,\u00a0 I’ll take you back <\/span>
\n<\/span>in a couple thousand years <\/span>
\n<\/span>but only on my own terms. <\/span><\/p>\n
