Now it seems that it has become a rarity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In our daily chapter, Knesset Israel, and probably Zion and Jerusalem, are given the name &#8220;Heftzibah.&#8221; Let us examine the meaning of the name.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the sake of Zion I will not be silent, For the sake of Jerusalem I will not be still, Till her victory emerge resplendent And her triumph like a flaming torch. Nations shall see your victory\u2026 And you shall be called by a new name Which the LORD Himself shall bestow\u2026 Nevermore shall you be called \u201cForsaken,\u201d Nor shall your land be called \u201cDesolate\u201d; But you shall be called \u201cI delight in her,\u201d And your land \u201cEspoused\u2026 (Isaiah 62: 1-4).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jerusalem is going to be saved and arise from the ruins and will get a new name: &#8220;Heftzibah &#8211; I delight in her&#8221;. The new name is not simply a semantic change, it describes the essence of God\u2019s love for us. Let the world know that I delight in her and want the city and the Knesset of Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What a glorious statement!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We all yearn for the wonderful feeling of someone special wanting us and knowing that our existence has meaning for people we love. It is so empowering to feel that someone believes in us and wants to see us grow and develop, to arise from crises and prosper. This feeling is enough to justify waking up every morning to face life&#8217;s challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most of us have experienced a state of \u201cHeftzibah\u201d: a feeling bestowed on us by a loving mother or father, spouse, sibling or close friend. It makes us feel that we are worthy, desirable and have potential. In the daily chapter, God tells us &#8211; &#8220;I want you&#8221; and evokes in us a memory of warmth and being protected. Will this call inspire a renewed search for this sense of &#8220;being loved&#8221; that has lessened during life\u2019s rat race? Dare we convey this empowering message to the ones we love?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And what about God who delights in us? How much do we really delight in Him ?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">God loves us! the prophet proclaims. However, accepting love is not at all easy for many of us. In order to receive love, we must be able to expose our inner selves, to let go, trust and make room for love.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">People who are &#8220;full of themselves&#8221; and, alternatively, are suspicious of the intentions of those around them, or people who do not appreciate their own abilities and talents and their right to be loved, will not be able to accept love, even if it is lavished on them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">God tells us repeatedly: I want you, the Knesset of Israel, and does not let go. Do we dare to fully accept His love for us and reciprocate it?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Translated by: Chava
