Chapter 34 is also noteworthy for its vast listing of animals who will live in Edom after destruction: short-eared owl (<em>ka-at<\/em> and <em>kipod<\/em>), long-eared owl (<em>yanshuf<\/em>), raven or crow (<em>orev<\/em>), ostrich (<em>bat-yanah;<\/em> or the eagle owl), desert owl (<em>tanim<\/em>, but see Eicha 4:3 perhaps &#8216;hyena&#8217;), jackals (<em>iyim<\/em>), tawny owl (<em>lilit<\/em>, or the name of a demon), kites (<em>daya<\/em>), and herons (<em>kipoz<\/em>).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>photo by Brad Wilson \/ Audobon,org
