“Ah, Ariel, Ariel, the city where David encamped \u2014 add year to year, let the holidays come around.” (Isaiah 29:1)<\/span><\/p>\n

Fire was a gift to the lion.<\/span><\/p>\n

From the Eternal Flame, a spark<\/span>
\n<\/span>Flashed out and penetrated the lion’s eye<\/span>
\n<\/span>And from his eye, his heart<\/span> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where the spark ignited stacks of dry hay;<\/span>
\n<\/span>Thick slabs of ice around the heart melted,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Allowing it to beat again.<\/span><\/p>\n

The spark ascended to his mind, kindling bundles of straw;<\/span>
\n<\/span>The mind’s stove baked showbread once more<\/span>
\n<\/span>And from its chimney, a pillar of cloud arose.<\/span><\/p>\n

The spark descended to the lion’s paw<\/span>
\n<\/span>Which received not burns, but a radiance;<\/span>
\n<\/span>Everything it touched, glowed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The spark passed to the lion’s throat;<\/span>
\n<\/span>A blaze burst forth when the lion roared,<\/span>
\n<\/span>And in his roar, a voice.<\/span><\/p>\n

And this voice was light<\/span>
\n<\/span>And this voice was a star<\/span>
\n<\/span>And this voice was an Eternal Flame.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fire is a gift from the lion.<\/span><\/p>\n
