\n<\/span>This is the hour for which our captors yearned.<\/span>
\n<\/span>This is the hour when heaven is overturned,<\/span>
\n<\/span>When sunsets in the west are now the east’s<\/span>
\n<\/span>Last hope of light, as shadows eat their feasts;<\/span>
\n<\/span>This is the hour when all our pleas are spurned.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the hour when hours are scorched to death<\/span>
\n<\/span>And time itself is buried under sod;<\/span>
\n<\/span>The present has no life, the past \u2014 no power<\/span>
\n<\/span>To move its limbs, the future has no breath,<\/span>
\n<\/span>When all we see is the hidden face of God.<\/span>
\n<\/span>This is the month, week, day. This is the
