Home improvement.<\/em> The last time (which was actually the first time) that repairs were made on the Temple, was 11 chapters ago (2 Kings 11), and about 200 years earlier, during the reign of King Jehoash. In addition to the similarity in the names of the kings, there are also parallels in how the budget was managed. With both Josiah and Jehoash, full trust was placed in the artisans, and there was no financial reporting: \u201cno check is to be kept on them for the silver that is delivered to them, for they deal honestly\u201d (verse 7).<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Surprising names from the animal realm<\/em>. The scribe is Shaphan (rabbit or cony), one of the ministers -Achbor (mouse), and the prophetess: Hulda (rat).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n

Her spouse\u2019s occupation shows that they probably had close ties to the priesthood. But that\u2019s all we know.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. What was written in the book!?<\/em> The readers rend their clothes. The prophetess confirms that yes, there is what to be concerned about. The people indeed do not fulfill what is written in the book, and the future disaster written in the book will indeed come to pass. From verse 17, it seems that what is written concerns the Temple cult. The next chapter will help decipher the mystery.
