Okay, I must admit I\u2019m somewhat slow,<\/span>
\n<\/span>I don\u2019t know how to read and write, I mean,<\/span>
\n<\/span>It\u2019s really hard \u2014 even if you\u2019re a queen \u2014 <\/span>
\n<\/span>To get the hang of it, the letters flow<\/span>
\n<\/span>Like drops of rain all over the page, they go<\/span>
\n<\/span>Both up and down, across, and in between;<\/span>
\n<\/span>Then funny empty spaces intervene,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Like roots that drink the rain, to make plants grow.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So like I said, I\u2019m really not that smart,<\/span>
\n<\/span>And David\u2019s other wives think I\u2019m a calf.<\/span>
\n<\/span>But I don\u2019t care that much.\u00a0 Let others boast<\/span>
\n<\/span>They read the Torah scrolls; I know the art<\/span>
\n<\/span>Of telling jokes and making David laugh.<\/span>
