It is rendered in modern translations, erroneously, as \u201ctunic,\u201d \u201cgarment,\u201d or even \u201cbelt,\u201d but as we know from the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Iliad<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, it is rather armor that a warrior takes from a slain foe on the battlefield. (The King James Version actually gets it right here but not in the Samson story.)
