\n<\/span>\u201cThe words You inscribed give light, and grant understanding to the simple.” (Psalm 119:130)<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

A spark \u2014 a flash \u2014 if only a single beam<\/span>
\n<\/span>Would penetrate the soul, enabling us<\/span>
\n<\/span>To read the scroll which Moses handed us.<\/span>
\n<\/span>In other words, we dream we might redeem<\/span>
\n<\/span>The darkness of our lives, if but a gleam<\/span>
\n<\/span>Would infiltrate the mind, permitting us<\/span>
\n<\/span>To understand what Moses wrote for us<\/span>
\n<\/span>With Sinai’s ink. \u00a0In other words, we dream <\/span><\/p>\n

Of light, despite the night in which we sleep;<\/span>
\n<\/span>We dream we wake with eagle eyes that sight<\/span>
\n<\/span>A fleece of shining white amidst the herds<\/span>
\n<\/span>Of spotted goats and flocks of speckled sheep<\/span>
\n<\/span>That graze upon our hills; we dream of light<\/span>
