I heard a Voice<\/span>
\n<\/span>And went, as if<\/span>
\n<\/span>I had no choice. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Voice was clear:<\/span>
\n<\/span>“Stay no longer \u00a0\u2014<\/span>
\n<\/span>Leave now \u2014 for There \u2014 <\/span><\/p>\n

Come to the Land<\/span>
\n<\/span>I will show you:<\/span>
\n<\/span>Mountains \u2014 Stars \u2014 Sand\u2014 <\/span><\/p>\n

Fig-Trees \u2014 a Vine \u2014<\/span>
\n<\/span>And in its Streams:<\/span>
\n<\/span>Honey \u2014 Milk \u2014 Wine \u2014 ” <\/span><\/p>\n

The Voice said: “Go!”<\/span>
\n<\/span>And echoed: “Seek\u2014<\/span>
\n<\/span>And bless \u2014 and know.” <\/span><\/p>\n

The Voice called me<\/span>
\n<\/span>And I followed<\/span>
\n<\/span>My destiny. <\/span><\/p>\n

Not deaf \u2014 not dumb \u2014<\/span>
\n<\/span>Not even blind \u2014<\/span>
\n<\/span>I chose to come. <\/span><\/p>\n

A Voice I heard \u2014<\/span>
\n<\/span>And ever since<\/span>
\n<\/span>I breathe the word<\/span><\/p>\n
