You think I’m only a donkey,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Awkward, smelly, full of flies and fleas;<\/span>
\n<\/span>But inside of me, an imprisoned butterfly<\/span>
\n<\/span>Seeking to worm her way out of a caterpillar’s body<\/span>
\n<\/span>Is poised to fly. <\/span><\/p>\n

You think I’m only a donkey,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Fit only for carrying burdens in silence,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Plodding along slowly on four left feet without complaint;<\/span>
\n<\/span>But inside of me, a ballerina dances,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Ready to perform a pirouette. <\/span><\/p>\n

You think I’m only a donkey,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Knowing only how to bray, or shut up;<\/span>
\n<\/span>But inside of me, a warbler<\/span>
\n<\/span>With a nightingale merges and emerges,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Waiting impatiently to sing a soprano’s aria. <\/span><\/p>\n

You think I’m only a donkey that knows no love, no faith, no God.<\/span>
\n<\/span>But inside of me, a third eye envisions angels;<\/span>
\n<\/span>God’s finger, stroking my throat, releases the detained Word<\/span>
\n<\/span>And I \u2014 the real I \u2014 <\/span>
\n<\/span>Am
