As candles wait to melt before the flame,
\n<\/span>As desert sands await the promised rains,
\n<\/span>As darkness waits for dawn when moonlight wanes,
\n<\/span>So I await the thunder of Your name.
\n<\/span>As beggars wait for grace to cancel shame,
\n<\/span>To rinse their lives and wash away all stains
\n<\/span>Till only long forgotten white remains,
\n<\/span>So I await the truth that You proclaim.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Your name, Your truth, Your word, are all the same \u2014
\n<\/span>That sudden flash of lightning in the night
\n<\/span>Revealing unseen pathways, broad and straight,
\n<\/span>Allowing me, although my feet are lame,
\n<\/span>To throw away my cane and walk upright,
