Those sorts of restaurants know what their reputations are based on, what their flagship dishes are, and what the menu should feature. In the Temple, which was sort of like a fancy restaurant, at least for the Priests, they thought about this way before anyone else, and the possibilities that were open to someone coming to sacrifice were clear and simple. There were sacrifices known as: guilt, sin, burnt, well-being, and the basic fare\u2013 the meal offering. No starters, no sides, no blue-plate or early-bird specials.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All the sacrifices were done with one of four types of meat: beef, sheep, goats, and fowl. \u00a0But there was the vegan option, the meal offering. Consisting of semolina and oil and spices, it could be griddle-fried, pan-seared, or oven-baked.
