Yes, I believe \u2014 although my faith is far<\/span>
\n<\/span>From perfect, flawed by crevices and cracks,<\/span>
\n<\/span>A forest threatened by the stubborn ax<\/span>
\n<\/span>Of doubt, a comet distant from the star<\/span>
\n<\/span>Of certainty, a door that’s left ajar<\/span>
\n<\/span>And doesn’t close, a candle of blue wax<\/span>
\n<\/span>Which may not last the night, a book that lacks<\/span>
\n<\/span>Its final page defining who we are. <\/span><\/p>\n

But yes, I do believe \u2014 although I’ve heard<\/span>
\n<\/span>And seen how people suffer, mourn and grieve.<\/span>
\n<\/span>And I believe that God alone is King.<\/span>
\n<\/span>And I believe the Torah nests His word<\/span>
\n<\/span>With echoes of His voice. \u00a0And I believe<\/span>
\n<\/span>In hours of grace we hear the Torah
