As Sforno explains, the <em>hakhmei lev<\/em> are the wisest or most skilled among the Israelite craftspeople. The <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hakhmei lev<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and Bezalel above all&#8211; possess a depth of knowledge that can only come from years of diligent apprenticeship and learning, resulting in the acquisition of great skill. The tabloids would be encouraged by this next lead but still mystified as to why God singled Betzalel out for the gig. They might huddle around and ask at the Mishkan press conference: is he just some corporate lackey who will follow instructions without any initiative on his own part?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The eager tabloid reporters would have to wait for the Rabbis to step in to provide the full story in Berachot 55A.
