“And you shall speak to the wise of heart, to whom I have given the wisdom of the heart \u2026” (Exodus 28:3)<\/span><\/p>\n

At the <\/span>Kotel<\/span><\/i>, I close my eyes
\n<\/span>And place my hands upon its stones.
\n<\/span>Its stones \u2014 warmer and softer than an infant\u2019s skin.
\n<\/span>The minutes pass; an hour; my hands do not move as they pray,
\n<\/span>As they absorb the Message.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

The Message relayed to me through my hands
\n<\/span>By the stones: that the wise of heart
\n<\/span>Gather spiderwebs of the imagination,
\n<\/span>To weave from them
\n<\/span>Vestments of a Temple priest.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Vestments of a Temple priest:
\n<\/span>The ephod and mantle,
\n<\/span>The turban and tunic
\n<\/span>He must wear
\n<\/span>In order to serve God.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

To serve God:
\n<\/span>For eye cannot see, nor ears hear,
\n<\/span>Nor the mind grasp
\n<\/span>God;
\n<\/span>Only spiderwebs of the imagination.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Only spiderwebs of the imagination, and sunbeams|
\n<\/span>That penetrate the cavern of the soul,
\n<\/span>Woven on the loom of the spirit
\n<\/span>As threads into fabric
\n<\/span>That outlasts stones.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Stones of the <\/span>Kotel<\/span><\/i> whisper me this secret:
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunbeams and spiderwebs fashion the vestments
\n<\/span>Worn by the wise of heart
\n<\/span>Who know how to unlock the gates
\n<\/span>And enter the Temple of
