“And Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses’ father-in-law, heard everything that God had done for Moses and for Israel His people, how the Lord had taken Israel out of Egypt.” (Exodus 18:1)<\/span><\/p>\n

I heard the Lord had split apart the sea;
\n<\/span>I heard the Lord had freed the slaves; I heard
\n<\/span>That Moses is His prophet, and the bird
\n<\/span>Of freedom God released is calling me
\n<\/span>As well, to fly with them unto their tree
\n<\/span>Of life where they will nest. \u00a0I heard the Word
\n<\/span>Of God is stirring, just as leaves are stirred
\n<\/span>By wind and rain, for Israel is free.<\/span><\/p>\n

I swear, by every sacred vow, the Voice
\n<\/span>Of God is whispering to me, I swear
\n<\/span>I hear Him speaking in the annals of
\n<\/span>His people, Israel. \u00a0I have no choice
\n<\/span>Except to turn to You, O Lord, in prayer,
