And when we feel differently, we live differently. What we believe shapes what we become. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the heart of teshuva is the belief that we can change. We are not destined to be forever what we were. In the Torah we see Judah grow from an envious brother prepared to sell Joseph as a slave, to a man with the conscience and courage to offer himself as a slave so that his brother Benjamin can go free.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We see Moses grow from a man lacking the confidence to lead \u2013 \u201cWho am I?\u201d (Ex. 3:11), \u201cThey will not believe in me\u201d (Ex. 4:1) \u2013 to become the greatest leader of all time. The man who once stammered and said of himself, \u201cI am not a man of words\u201d (Ex. 4:10), becomes by the end of his life the most eloquent and visionary of all the
