He interprets Pharaoh\u2019s dreams and tells him a great famine is coming, tells Pharaoh he needs someone to run the country. So Pharaoh appoints him viceroy. Now\u2019s there\u2019s a man who knows how to get ahead. He even gets a wife for free, doesn\u2019t have to work a stitch for her. I know he was in love and he would agree to anything. But he kept being taken advantage of by Laban who must have felt like he was shooting fish in a barrel. \u00a0I wanted to compare Jacob to Joseph, who seemed far shrewder in his dealings with Pharoah, and getting a wife without having to work for her.
