They heard God\u2019s voice in the garden, and they \u201chid themselves from God among the trees of the garden.\u201d <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hide<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from a voice? How could that be so? Before hearing God\u2019s voice, Man sinned by eating from the tree of knowledge. Eating from the tree of knowledge did indeed inject man with a heightened wisdom. He acquired a knowledge of good and evil when it comes to physicality \u201cI was naked, so I hid\u201d. He ought to have learned instead the art of listening. After failing to heed God\u2019s instructions he should have learned to answer when God calls. Listening is not easy.
